The Oasis road spins of the Cairo Fayoum road after only a few kilometers. It passes through the October 6th city before it heads southwest to Bahariya. From Bahariya there’s a paved road (and I use the word paved loosely here :)) that heads northwest to Siwa. The main Oasis road continues southwest to Farafra, southeast to Dakhla then east to Kharga. The newly constructed leg of the road continued northeast to Asyut to tie the oasis firmly with the Nile Valley.

The green shade indicates exceptionally beautiful and scenic parts of the roads.
