Englishman’s House: Built by a retired English officer after WW2. He picked one of the highest and most scenic hills in Bahariya to build his house. He has a clear view of almost the entire oasis. Talk about Location, Location, Location.

Widan El Faras (Horse's ears): These are the remains of the first paved road in history. Built to easily transport basalt across the sand from the quarry (the two mountains in the background resembling a horse’s ears) to the quay near Qasr El Sagha.
